Canta Libre House Description and Rates

Canta Libre House sits high atop a hill looking over the Atlantic Ocean.  Your own Cabana views the ocean in three directions and there are miles of beach to explore.  The private acre of tropical palms stretches from Burns Pond to the Sea.  Other houses are far away and the fresh-water  pool is particularly private, set back amidst the palms and native trees.

Foot stones take you to the beach where you may not see anyone for days. Paddle one of the two kayaks or snorkel the reefs right off the beach or go mountain biking along the sandy roads. The house is very comfortable, completely air conditioned with ceiling fans throughout. The kitchen has all new appliances. There are two large bedrooms and two en-suite bathrooms. Satellite TV with 40 channels, a DVD player. The upstairs bedroom is completely separate from the rest of the house.

Eleuthera is 120 miles long and there are many interesting settlements to visit if you travel any part of Queen's Highway. Rock Sound in the south has the famous Ocean Hole. Whale Point in the north has a spectacular view of Harbour Island. The Current has a amazing channel and Hatchet Bay has a beautiful Harbour and some interesting caves. The native Eleutherans are friendly but quiet - be prepared to wave at every passing car!

Pricing: The rental is $1600 per week summer (April 15th to November 30th) and $1800 per week winter (December 1st to April 14th) for four people. Extra persons are $100 per week each. The Minimum required stay is 7 nights. Maid service is available at $50 per day. Rental Cars are approximately $70 per day.

Payment Methods Accepted: Certified check or bank draft, Western Union or Wire Transfer.

Getting to Canta Libre: There are daily flights from Miami and Ft. Lauderdale to Governor's Harbour, Eleuthera on Twin Air, US Air or Continental. There are two daily flights to Governor's Harbour from Nassau, Bahamas and 4 weekly ferry boat sailings from Nassau, Bahamas. Rock Sound, Eleuthera is an Alternate airport to fly into.
